Day 2
Osiligilai Maasai Lodge

Today you will learn about the Maasai and their way of life. You have the day available to do various activities with the Maasai tribe by walking through the Maasai steppes, learning about the medicinal plants and having an exciting throwing competition! For children’s activities, they can also take a donkey ride. You can dance between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro at sunset and enjoy a memorable evening! The Maasai staff will prepare the traditional goat barbecue around the fireplace for you to listen to all their remarkable stories. They will tell you about their way of life and traditions, and you will learn about their countless rituals and ceremonies. For the night, you will rest in one of our chosen locations Osiligilai Maasai Lodge.

Day 3
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary

Located a short hour’s drive from the city, travellers often overlook Arusha National Park despite its qualities due to its smaller size, 137 km². The park offers splendid landscapes, such as Mount Meru, the high-altitude forest, the craters and the alkaline lakes of Momela, from where, on a clear day, it is possible to see Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the region. Arusha National Park also offers the opportunity to observe a wide range of wildlife, from different species of antelopes, buffalos, and zebras to giraffes. It is also possible to see leopards and spotted hyenas. The park’s forest is also one of the only places to see the acrobatic black and white colobus monkeys. Accompanied by qualified and professional guides and rangers, walking safaris offer the chance to learn about the “small five”, the relationship between flora and fauna and the medicinal values of plants. An educational and exceptionally enlightening experience, walking safaris follow the tracks, sites, smells and sounds of animals large and small in the African wilderness. The walks typically last 2 to 4 hours. The privilege of walking through these natural areas gives you a sense of exhilarating adventure. Although you are usually close to large mammals like elephants, giraffes, buffalo or even lions, walking safaris are very safe. Experienced guides and an armed national ranger will accompany you on every walk. At the end of the day, you will drive to your homestay for a well-deserved overnight stay at Mama Asia/Mary.

Day 4
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary

Today you will have a leisure day at the homestay. The Mama offers many activities, such as cooking classes, local market tours, coffee tours and many more!

Day 5
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge

This day is devoted to discovering the Tarangire National Park. The park offers numerous tracks to approach the animals in the stunning landscapes of the savanna. The Tarangire park is covered with acacia forest and giant baobabs and surrounded by swaps that attract various animal species. You may see elephants up close during your safari, as Tarangire is known for. Throughout the park, you can find species that are challenging to locate in other northern parks, such as the Gerenuk, Oryx and Greater Kudu. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge

Day 6
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge

In today’s tour, you are going to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will find almost every animal in East Africa. The descent into the crater is picturesquely beautiful, with lush forest and thousands of animals overlooking the view. The Ngorongoro crater is home to over 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos and the world’s most significant concentration of lions. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your homestay, Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Day 7
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge

Experience the thrill of flying through the African sky! Zip between majestic baobab trees while taking in the stunning scenery of Tanzania. The zipline course has 4 exciting zips and 5 unique eco-platforms. The tour starts in Mto wa Mbu where you will have a safety orientation and be fitted for your harness. A short ride will take you through maasailand to the adventure park! When you return to the office after completing your tour, you can relax in the cafe with a cold beverage for the remainder of your time! After a long day of adventure, you will spend the night at Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.

Day 8 and 9
The Whisper Tented Camp

Today, you will visit the famous Serengeti National Park, and due to its dimension, you will need two full days to explore it. In addition to the great migration, Serengeti National Park is well known for being home to many resident animals, especially the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino and buffalo). The park is also home to many other species, including cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, hyena, baboon, impala, wild dog and giraffe and about 500 species of birds. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at The Whisper Tented Camp.
